UN Secretary Ban ki Moon to visit Turkey on Friday Dec 7th
Just when the patriots are to be sent over to Turkey, United Nations Secretary General Ban ki Moon is expected to arrive in Turkey on Friday.
It is reported that Mr. Moon is scheduled to meet Syrians in Gaziantep, who fled clashes in their country and crossed into Turkey.
Regarding other contacts UN Chief is expected to make, Mr Moon is reported to have scheduled visits to President Gül, PM Erdoğan as well as FM Davutoğlu in Ankara.
It is known that UN Sec Gen has sent a letter to incumbent Syrian leader Bashar Assad, urging him to refrain from resorting to chemical weapons, earlier.
Thus, it is expected that the latest developments in Syria will be the main item on the agenda of Ban’s contacts.
