Turkey’s Production Index Increased 6,9 percent in July 2011

Industrial production index increased 6.9 percent in July 2011 when compared to July 2010.

TurkStat said on Friday that in the sub-sectors level of industry; mining sector increased 1.1 percent, manufacturing sector index increased 7.2 percent, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased 7.1 percent in July 2011 when compared to July 2010.

Calendar adjusted production index in July 2011 increased 9.8 percent when compared to the same month of 2010, and seasonal and calendar adjusted industrial production index increased 2.7 percent when compared to June.
