The government of Ak Party has been holding meetings with Abdullah Ocalan, jailed head of PKK terror organization for a while to stop violence exercised by pro-Kurdish terrorists in the country.

Simultaneously, this plan conducted by the government has started to receive much and very strıng criticism from nationalistic front in specific, Nationalist Party to be in the first row.

Accordingly, Mr. Devlet BAHÇELI the leader of Nationalist Party which is the third largest group in Turkish Parliament slammed negotiations held with terrorist head Ocalan during his address to the party’s parliamentary group on Tuesday and expressed that PM Erdogan had been gambling with Turkey’s future.

Mr. BAHÇELI went on to say Turkey’s currently the most important problem was combating terrorism, at his address to the party’s parliamentary group on Tuesday.

The head of MHP used a strong language and stated that the government’s political preferences would bring negative results. BAHCELI added that as a state and nation, Turkey faced a serious problem of perpetuity.

BAHCELI also said “We understand that a very long global game, plan, project and desire whichever want to pull us into ethnic traps, have risen using AK Party. By attempting to this kind of a deal, Turkish PM started to gamble for the future of Turkish people.”
Bahceli added that PM Erdogan considers the “meet ups” with terror organization as “politics” and continued as saying, “Don’t you think that negotiations (with Ocalan) stand for betrayal, no? What more will come in order for Turkey to collapse, Turkish nation to break up?”

On the other hand Chairman of Turkey’s main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kemal Kilicdaroglu said on Tuesday that one of Turkey’s biggest problems was the “Kurdish problem” and Turkey had not been able to solve this problem for the past 30 years.

“The trust we had placed in Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the past for democracy was without condition. We do not trust him now and we have conditions. He should either behave like a man and solve the (Kurdish) problem or be responsible for every coffin of a martyr,” Kilicdaroglu noted.

As for conditions stipulated by CHP the head of said party mentioned following:

“The PM should be sincere and honest. He should not have a personal agenda. He should not enter engagements which he cannot explain to the people and he should inform the main opposition about the process. If he accepts these conditions, then we will extend him our trust. This is not a support extended to Erdogan but one extended to the mothers and fathers of the martyrs.”
