Ukrainian president: talks continue between Ukraine, Azerbaijan & Turkey for joint energy projects

Ukraine’s President Viktor Yanukovych said that there were trilateral talks going on between Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Turkey to implement joint energy projects.

Following his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Yanukovych said that Ukraine was in an active dialogue with Azerbaijan on implementing joint projects in energy sector.

Noting that currently there were trilateral talks going on between Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Turkey to implement joint energy projects, Yanukovych said, “there are prospects in this area.”

He added that the parties have almost reached the confirmation of their interest in implementing such projects.
