Report: Turkey’s Foreign Trade Statistics, September 2013
Based on the report of Turkish Statistical Institute foreign figures for Turkey in September 2013 is as follows;
Exports increased by 1.3% and imports increased by 3.5%
According to the provisional data, produced with the cooperation of the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Ministry of Customs and Trade, in September 2013; exports were 13 121 Million Dollars with a 1.3% increase and imports were 20 623 Million Dollars with a 3.5% increase compared with September 2012.
Foreign trade deficit increased by 7.6%
At the same month, foreign trade deficit increased by 7.6% from 6 972 Million Dollars to 7 502 Million Dollars.In September 2013, exports coverage imports was 63.6% while it was 65% in September 2012.Seasonally and calendar adjusted exports increased by 2.7%
Seasonally and calendar adjusted exports increased by 2.7% and imports increased by 3% compared with previous month. Calendar adjusted exports increased by 1.3% and imports decreased by 0.2% compared with September 2012.
