ISBANKTurkey is considered to have one of the best developing economies in the world recently.

Istanbul on the other hand has grown to be one of the giant metropoles in Europe – and the world.

A great majority of industrial and economic activities that take place in Turkey are in Istanbul and thus this megapole is called the economic and business capital of Turkey.

The Turkish government which has shown a very brave performance both political and economical so far, seems to have intentions to turn Istanbul into a political capital as well.

In fact, the government has been reported to consider carrying the head offices of state establishments such as central bank (and others) to Istanbul which was the capital of the great Ottoman Empire for many years.

Within this framework we now know the government is to submit bill on making Istanbul a financial center in a few months as announced by deputy prime minister Babacan during a meeting with executives of Banks Association of Turkey in Istanbul, on Friday.
