Is the USA winner or loser of the war in Iraq?
After 9 years of blood and tears in Iraq the United States troops have left this country. They came to bring democracy whereas in the end they only brought death and misery.
The region has been in a turmoil since the Americans started the invasion of Iraq and to the contrary of hopes and expectations the
only accomplishment in the region was the plans made about “how oil resources should be shared between emperialistic powers”, USA to be first in the row certainly.
Funny how, a young man called Julian Assange and his team came up with thousands of unbelievable “written” materials in the meantime, to prove the secret/hidden agenda of the States and how the world was misoriented and lied to to start a war with Iraq of Saddam Husaein to achieve planned evil goals.
As for the gain of the USA it can eaisly be said that arms manufacturers certainly enjoyed the opportunity of surviving (especially in the least favorable economic situation of the world) and the States managed to secure its position in the Middle East region especially, not to forget the privileges it got hold of concerning most productive and rich oil sources of the world.
But everybody with a little touch of humanity knows that America has done a terrible job in the region and is not the power it has always claimed to be in terms of protecting liberty, freedom and democracy allover the world.
Everybody with some brains are clearly aware now that the USA is only after its own benefits regardless of what price it would cost, to include the price of lives of millions of people in the region.
Looking at this issue from the same point of view Mr. Birand, a prominent Turkish writer has analyzed the operation of America in the region and what it has brought to the region and the States in return, in a very harsh and strong language and brought about some very fair and straight to the point criticism to it.
It iss worth reading especially for those who have not yet woken up and think the States is the warrior of liberty and freedom in the world – not to forget democracy.

US LEAVING IRAQ DEFEATED
American troops are finally withdrawing from Iraq after an occupation of around nine years. According to official figures, 1,200,000 were left dead by the war that the United States started with “deliberately distorted” intelligence, lying both to the world and the United Nations.
According to a story in one of the most respected newspapers in the United Kingdom, the Observer, and based on research conducted by research company ORB, the United States, by starting this war to “liberate the Iraqi people” has caused the death of 1,200,000 people. A shattered, chaotic Iraq is left behind, a country where all institutions and infrastructure have collapsed and a country has been left even poorer than before.
More importantly, the U.S. has caused the polarization of the Shiite and Sunni fronts in the region. The Iraqis say, “When the Americans arrived; there was only one Saddam. Now, there are thousands. Before, we did not know if we were Shiite or Sunni, now this discrimination defines our lives.”
In short, the U.S. has spoilt everything, it has made a mess. It was already obvious even at the beginning of the operation that the Americans had no plans for after the war. To top it all, there is the 1 trillion dollars of war costs which could have had the power to change a lot.
Meanwhile, the U.S. flattened its reputation with this lie. Its credibility plummeted to zero. The war crimes committed were the kiss of death. The American “excruciation” and “war crimes” were documented with photos that shocked its own public the most.
For this reason, the U.S. came out of the Iraq war with a defeat. Washington and American democracy lost both its prestige and credibility in Iraq.
