Galatasaray win “Champions” title at Fenerbahçe’s stadium

The last game of the Spor Toto Super League Championship Group took place between Fenerbahce and Galatasaray football clubs and ended in a goalless draw.

After a very competitive season full of many challenges for Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray and longtime rivals Fenerbahçe came out onto the pitch to settle accounts for the champions title.

The game ended in a goalless draw and with this tie, Galatasaray finished the 2012 football season with 48 points and became the champion.

This was Galatasaray’s 18th championship in the league.The last time Galatasaray were champion was back in 2008.

WE CONGRATULATE GALATASARAY for THEIR VICTORY..

WE ALSO CONGRATULATE FENERBAHÇE for keeping their stance like a rock inspite of all the plots to stop their unavoidable rise in the Turkish football (and sports) scene.

The incidents after the match are not acceptable at all and we condemn fana(luna)tics for having caused those ugly events whereas they should have kept calm and given the champions a big applause.
