11,000 foreigners bought properties in last 9 months
It was reported Turkey’s Environment and Urbanization Ministry that 10,687 real estate properties in Turkey had been bought by foreigners in 9 months.
This was said to be due to the new arrangement in Turkish reciprocity law.
Among those foreigners Germans had purchased most of the real estates in Turkey followed by British and Austrian nationals.
The report said German citizens had purchased 2,557 real estates while British bought 1,302 and Austrians bought 352 real estates.
It was reported earlier that interest from citizens of the USA, Saudi Arabia, Russia and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) had started to grow after concerned law came into effect.
